UPDATE: Small Bathroom

I painted the little bathroom this morning. I painted it a pale blue color, I was trying to capture "water". With my new decor accents, I think it looks great! Its a small bathroom with tall ceilings, So it feels a tad bigger than it is. Another project down!! Woo Hoo!

new lamps

Thank you mom & Michael for giving us these cool red lamps!!. They match our decor and they don't blend into the wall like the other ones did.

Instant Back yard

Tom and I laid sod down this weekend. It took two days and 79 rolls of sod. The first day we had the level the yard as much as we could, raking the soil loose. We bought 33 rolls of sod, then ran out of time and sod. The second day we bought 46 rolls of sod, and it laid down faster than the day before. I think because we had already leveled the yard. We love it! Instant grass, Instant Back yard!! Even the dogs are lovin it! Its going to be so much nicer this winter, since it rains alot during the winter here, the dogs would have tracked in so much dirt and mud. Anyways, We want to BBQ tomorrow and enjoy the day in our new back yard. Its going to be used more now!! :)

Small bathroom

I bought a few decorations for my small bathroom. I am going to paint this a light blue, but I haven't done it yet. Taking pictures was a bit difficult, but at least you can see what it looks like. :)

morgans halloween costume

I found this cute little Halloween outfit at a second hand store, It was perfect for what Morgan wanted to be for Halloween this year, and it was her size. Can't beat it for a whole $6.00. She tryed it on at home and love it! :) We are going to pair it up with black tights and black shoes, and paint her face and walla - Instant Halloween costume. I can't wait to see how it turns out. ;)

Ikea, my new favorite store

Two items I bought from Ikea, My new favorite store.
The wavy mirror was $19.99, a neat modern dressing mirror.
The Lamp, Is a 5 tier paper lamp, for $29.00. I need to get wall
clamps to secure the cord to the wall, then Im going to paint the
cord brown to match the wall. Then hopefully you won't see the
cord, Cause I can't stand the site of ugly cords everywhere!

Anyways, I put these up this weekend, And I thought I would
share. I still need to get more paint and finish to other long wall,
But I was feeling under the weather all weekend, and just didn't
have the energy.

nerd or super nanny??

I got new glasses a while ago...I never wear them cause Im always wearing my contacts.....but, they are different than my old metal framed ones..... So, stephaine, do I look more like the super nanny now?? LOL
