New bed and night tables

So,

These are pictures of the new bed and night tables we are getting delivered tomorrow afternoon. Yeah!! We bought a new king size mattress and boxspring too. Its a ultra plush latex Mattress.

We got a heck of a bargain of this stuff! We found this store in downtown portland, it has some fabulous deals.

The night tables are on costco's website for $599.00 each. We bought each one at $297.00 each, So basically 2 for the price of one. The bed on costco's website is $1349.00, We bought it for $788.00!! If thats not a screaming deal.... the mattress and boxspring set was at a local mattress store for $3000.00 and we got the same bed for $929.00!!

We have been wanting a bigger bed for a while, and thanks to our Tax return we bought the whole set....(There is one dresser that I like, but im not sure we really need it with the big walk in closet. )

The night tables are pretty cool, There are build in touch nightlights on the bottom, and also two plugs, and a phone jack, So you can have a phone and cell phone charger without cords everywhere. The bed is amazing...Im going to need a stool to get in the bed it is so high...My feet dangle about a foot from the floor when I sat on it. LoL!!

I'll take pictures when Its all set up...but I'll be sleeping on a cloud tomorrow!!

Morgan's Birds

Here are morgan's new birds....she named them Sunny & Sky. The Blue one is sky and the green and yellow one is Sunny.She got sunny about 2 weeks ago and he was so lonely, so we bought him a friend. He is so happy now. They don't sing, but you can teach them to talk.

Morgans Haircut

Morgan got a haircut this weekend. Her hair was getting long, and she tends to not comb it...so we thought it was time for a trim. She looks awful cute!!

Living room makeover!

We did a small makeover on the living room a few weekends ago. I still need to hang up my curtains, but otherwise done. I like the way it turned out!! We painted the walls a buttery yellow.....not sure how well it shows up in the pictures.

LOL- One day morgan came downstairs dressed like this, she made up her own super hero....

Not sure which way she was going here...batman or miss daisy. Either way, it was funny!!! She'll hate this picture in a few years!!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to our Family and Friends!! With a new year already here, We are hoping its off to a great start!

Tom, Morgan and I are getting back into the swing of things. After Tom and Morgan's three week Christmas break, they are getting back into their routines with school. Morgan started school today, and she had a great day back. She is working hard at learning multiplication, and excited about an upcoming concert with the third grade classes playing the recorder. Tom has many snow days to make up, after our cold snap and snow fall. He is working hard to make the grade. He will be finished with his second semester in February. Then only two more to go.!! He will be finished with school before he knows it.
I'm still working at Multnomah county, and yes, I still love my new job. I learn something everyday. I Have great co-workers, and I actually like going to work. I never thought I would say that....seriously!! LOL

Tom will be going to Texas in February for his brother wedding, unfortunately Morgan and I can't go.... With work and school we can't take the time off. But we hope the wedding is beautiful...and we can't wait to see the pictures. :)

I have made a goal to shed some pounds this year, and a goal I plan to stick too. Tom is also dieting with me!! It will be fun to work out together, eat boring food together...hahah. It easier to has a partner in crime. Wish us luck. :)

I hope to get up some pictures this weekend, I have to load software on to this new computer.... Thank you for being patient. But please check back for some fun new photos.
